Time for a Change

I think we all tend to be creatures of comfort and change more often than not comes an as inconvenience. When I say “time for a change” I am speaking more of a mind set and not of a 2008 wall calendar. I have been reading of all the new technologies that will be coming into the market this year and it is clear that everything is designed around us. Technology is driven by the need to add convenience to our everyday life. But we, as consumers, have to change our old habits and accept a new method or idea to allow these advancements to work for us.

Do you remember the dawn of the computer age? The once clunky and complicated machines were scoffed at because of their complexity, size, cost and any other trivial excuse as to not accept them. There was no way any common person would need one of those primitive beasts in a home setting to do what a calculator and a notepad could already do.

It was the drive of new technology fueled by the desire for improvement and advancement that has brought us to this point. My vehicle, my banking, shopping, travel and business all will not work without computers. We rely on computers to get us through every day and those that have refused to accept it are modern day dinosaurs.

Now with the internet easily available to anybody, any able minded person has the world at their fingertips to unlock unlimited resources that serve endless possibilities for business and pleasure. Unfortunately, most that surf the net are there for pleasure and don’t see the business possibilities that lie within. Time for a change!

Internet businesses were once thought to be for those in the IT business or for people of above average intelligence. Not so. When Ebay debuted as an instant success, it made thousands of average Joe’s and housewives into internet entrepreneurs by allowing them to sell any item online. It was the ease of the format that accommodated almost anybody to be able to use the software to make money on the side.
