In order to gain traffic form search engines you need to optimize your web site by adding keywords. An increase in the amount of times your site is picked up by the search engine, increases your possible client base.

Onpage Optimizations

Onpage optimization is the process by which various HTML elements on an individual web page are structured so that the web page can be found by the search engines for specific keyword(s) or keyword phrases. That means we will do the optimization for a site source so that this site will be optimized for some keywords. We will put keywords into the HTML elements so that the site should gain a density of keywords with relcatlessness for search engines. When people search these keywords on search engines, they will find you not only on the first page, but on first place.

Offpage Optimizations

Offpage Optimization is optimization done off the page, like getting relevant links from other sites, link exchange with quality relevant sites, choosing relevant anchor text from the perfect location on the different pages of different sites, submitting sites to directories, etc. Unlike Onpage Optimizations, Offpage Optimizations is made on web working only with different people, which buy or sell links, do reciprocal exchanges or even buy or sell sites to gain relevancy for good rankings.

Google now takes into consideration factors like:

-> how many web sites are linking to you
-> which sites are doing so
-> what is their page title
-> what anchor text is used to link to your site
-> the Google page rank of these sites
-> and more.

Submitting sites to directories means, classification of site to a certain domain, so site should be related to other sites from his domain of activity; getting back links; attracting costumers that search specific terms. Getting relevant links from sites means that a site should have an increase of traffic, gaining more targeted clients, and more relevant back links to a good ranking.

SEM (Search Engine Marketing)

Search engine marketing includes; strategies to choose domains, keywords, market places for selling or buying sites, reciprocal link, and finding niches for business, etc. For a good ranking a good analysis for choosing domain name, keywords niches, research for strategies, finding sites with profitability and potential and a good spreading on the site on web is needed. There is a small resemblance with Offpage Optimization but it’s not the same.

Also there is possibility of using the marketing by email technique but these are almost always considered as Spam and Spam is not even good with ketchup. Massive emails only give the illusion of being number one but the servers will ban any marketing technique like this. Even specialized email marketing firms are considered as spamming people.

Well, after all being said, there is one more thing to talk about.

In SEO and SEM results come after a period of time. SEO and SEM are not immediately profitable, but over time the investment pays off. So if we made SEO and SEM actions to a site, the results will be seen on a SE after 2 or 3 months.
